I will never forget when I really heard for the first time, and embodied, what was meant by unconditional love. Those words did not seem to belong together ... at least not in my world. My family simply was not raised with unconditional love, and so of course, they could not teach that which they did not know themselves. In my upbringing, love was turned on and it was turned
off, depending on my behavior. It really may not have been the case, but to me, that was how it felt. When I was first introduced to the concept of unconditional love, I was in my 20s and it really did not sink in. A few years ago, while attending an Abraham workshop, they explained it in a way that penetrated my mind and my heart. It was very simply stated. They said "Unconditional love is the capacity to love under any and all conditions, regardless of what they may be." They went on to say that "No matter how hurtful, rude, condemning, fearful or anything a person, group of people or situation was ... our job was to remain in love and to be loving." I remember thinking how awesome it would be to reach a point spiritually where I was capable of
doing that. Then it began to dawn on me that my reaction, my ability to remain loving no matter what, was an incredibly powerful place to be. In other words, no matter who attempted to push my buttons, or no matter what crazy card life dealt me, I could choose to be loving. WOW!!! From that place, I had so much more to offer people or to bring to the circumstances ... very cool indeed!

During the hottest months of the summer, it's tough to work out outdoors. Some people manage to stick it out, but most of us retreat to the air-conditioned health centers and gyms. The cardio equipment provided in most health and fitness facilities is usually super, but there simply isn't anything that can replace being in the great outdoors. Now that we are entering the fall months, I eagerly venture back out every chance I get. My favorite time to be out is early in the morning, before the sun comes up. That brisk, cool, fresh morning air is so invigorating. It's quiet and the traffic is low. In any case, whatever time of day you can manage to be outside is a good time.

This is not simply a trite, Pollyanna statement. This is the single most important subject there possibly is ... no joke. Everything you draw into your experience is due to the thoughts you most predominantly focus on ... EVERYTHING!!! This is the absolute fact of our time/space reality here on Planet Earth and is non-negotiable. You are either aware of it or you are not, but the Law of Attraction is as real as gravity and cannot be turned on or off ... it just is. The really good news is that once you become aware of this powerful Law, you can become a "conscious" creator. You will no longer feel like life is randomly throwing you curves, pitfalls and cliffs. Once you own that no one or thing is out to get you, that you are creating it all, then you are free to think only those thoughts that will create joyous, happy and fulfilling experiences.

It is quite amazing when you think about it. The logical mind says, "If I do not eat, or if I eat very little, I must lose weight, right?" Wrong! On the other hand, you may think that if you eat tons of salad, as much lean protein as you want, and as much brown rice as you want, you will lose weight also. Wrong! Both strategies are fairly logical, but the body's metabolic rate and physiology don't work that way. There are truths in each approach that are feasible, though.
